Ms. Lori Eckstein has been a source of joy and support for our school district for eleven years, bringing smiles to both young and old in her role as Library Media Assistant II. She has cultivated strong and lasting relationships with all stakeholders at Seneca Elementary, a testament to her warm and welcoming nature. Beloved by students and staff alike, Lori consistently demonstrates a willingness to lend a helping hand, ensuring that everyone feels supported. Her dedication to providing our students with access to adequate reading materials and technology is invaluable, enriching their learning experience throughout the school year. Her positive impact on our school community is immeasurable. It is with great pleasure and heartfelt appreciation that we honor Ms. Lori Eckstein as our Classified Employee of the Year.

Moreno Valley Unified Triumphs at RCOE National History Competition

 

In Moreno Valley, Calif., 34 students from the Moreno Valley Unified School District have demonstrated excellence at the RCOE National History competition, advancing with 16 projects to the state level. With 46 schools, including 13 from Moreno Valley, participating in the competition, a diverse range of institutions showcased their talent. Among 386 student entries, Moreno Valley participants secured 34 wins, highlighting their dedication to academic excellence. These winning students will progress to the California State Competition at CSU Sacramento on April 19-24, 2024.

Esports All Girls Tournament

The Moreno Valley Unified School District is hosting its first-ever All Girls Esports Tournament on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
